Some of the most iconic mementos from Westeros are up for grabs.
An upcoming auction is selling props, costumes, set decorations, weapons and jewelry from "Game of Thrones."
Taking place from Oct. 10 to 12 in Beverly Hills, California, the event will offer several pieces of iconic memorabilia, from Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword to Jaime Lannister’s golden hand. Heritage Auctions has united with HBO to offer more than 900 lots, totaling more than 2,000 pieces from the series, including dragon eggs.
"You design things for a television show, and usually that’s the extent of their lifespan: They get put in boxes and stored away," the show's costume designer, Michele Clapton, said in a statement. "I am very fortunate that these costumes will have an afterlife. I find it’s rather comforting to know they will carry on, that they’re still loved and talked about. Now they can all go off and have their great lives."
The series, adapted from George R.R. Martin's book franchise, went on to win 59 Emmy Awards during its run and sparked the prequel series "House of the Dragon."
