Shaboozey, featured on Beyoncé's latest album "Cowboy Carter," has reached another milestone in his blazing career.
The Nigerian-American singer-songwriter became the first Black male artist to simultaneously top Billboard's Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts with "A Bar Song (Tipsy)." According to Billboard, the Virginia native is the second Black artist to ever top both charts, with Beyoncé being the first to accomplish this feat for her single, "Texas Hold 'Em."
The 29-year-old's smash hit is also the first single in history to land the top 10 on country, pop, adult pop and rhythmic airplay charts.
Earlier this year, Shaboozey replaced Beyoncé for the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Country chart, marking the first time in history that two Black artists topped the chart consecutively.
Shazboozey was featured on "Spaghettii" and "Sweet Honey Buckin'" from Beyoncé's highly anticipated eighth studio album. His single "Tipsy" is from his latest project, "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going," an album that according to Billboard, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in June.

While the rising country star has been hard at work for years, his recent strides have catapulted him into superstardom.
Most recently, Shaboozey rocked the stage at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles with his "'Tipsy" which interpolates the throwback rap song "Tipsy" by J-Kwon.
Although country music has not traditionally been highlighted at awards shows like the BET, Shaboozey delighted fans and attendees when he brought out the rapper for a performance to remember.
And it seems Shaboozey is being fully embraced throughout the industry. During the Fourth of July weekend, he was amongst those to attend Michael Rubin's star-studded all-white party.
With a sold-out tour on the horizon, the country star has a lot to look forward to.
